HEAD CHEF FUNKY GASTRO BAR- STEAKHOUSE CO.KERRY. Please read the description below….. We are recruiting for one of our longest established clients in Kerry. We are seeking to recruit a Head Chef for this Gastro Style restaurant operation incorporating a new Grill / Steakhouse Concept. Ideally you will have worked in quality well known consistent restaurant in Bistro / Gastro style food operation that would also include a strong grill and steak selection. This is a busy premise that operates all year round and had a 150 cover restaurant. In any busy day in the high season this establishment can produce over 500 meals. Style of operation would be Gastro, Rustic and the Classics……. We are seeking a Head Chef that has the vision, the ideas and the determination to catapult this new launch to success. This is a fantastic employer with great job security! The Candidate will possess: " Previous Head Chef Experience preferably in volume a la carte restaurants on the high street. " Kitchen management & manage a great Kitchen Brigade that are a dedicated team. " Is hands on with a team working attitude. " Has particular strengths in range, grill & sauce. " Exposure to Grill - Steakhouse of notable quality is preferred for this role. " Great eye for funky food presentation without effecting the taste quality. " Cost focused coupled with portion control. " Food Safety trained and HACCP compliant. " Excellent on mise en place, organisation and forward planning. " Is a hands on chef that can also work on service? " Has a calm nature as this is a very busy premises. " Staff Induction & training and mentoring of new recruits. " Experience also to contemporary cuisine and occasional banqueting is required. This is a superior property offering a secure all year round position and offering a salary of up to €50,000-60,000 DOE per annum plus other benefits. Immediate Interview.
