Primary Duties: To directly oversee the management of the spa operation, ensuring delivery of excellent customer service standards. To ensure that the highest quality standards and processes are implemented and consistently maintained across the department. Responsible for building and maintaining strong client relations. To ensure all customer enquiries and requests for bookings are dealt with promptly, courteously and efficiently. To lead the spa team to ensure that the confidence, knowledge and expertise required is in place to deliver excellent customer service. Responsible for the recruitment and training for all new staff members. To coach and drive the effective development of the spa team & ensure good staff discipline. Devising staff rota schedules and performance. To ensure adequate and accurate resource planning to include casual staff for busier periods and effective recruitment and ongoing training of the spa team. You must be highly organised and be able to demonstrate that you have strong communication skills, with an ability to take on information quickly. To be a motivated and enthusiastic candidate with the ability to lead by example. To have the ability to plan and organise effectively. Responsibility for stock control and ordering. Managing the front of house area ensuring all appointments are recorded, guests are welcomed at a superior level customer service is provided at all times in accordance with hotel policy. Manage & maintain housekeeping of the spa. Ensuring all financial processes run smoothly, overlooking payment transactions and basic accounts. Forecast and manage the accounts for the Spa. Continuously driving revenue. Strive to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximise the financial. Developing marketing programs and managing company social media, assisting with salon events and promotions and ensuring they are marketed accordingly. Ensuring health and safety guidelines are met. Assisting the set up and close down of treatment rooms and areas. Reporting to the General Manager and keeping up to date with salon activity. Providing administration support & financial reports to the General Manager. Provide treatments when necessary. To work closely with the Financial Controller in conjunction with the budgeted targets. Effective management of the Spa budget. Ensuring all financial processes run smoothly, overlooking payment transactions and basic accounts. To maximise treatment & retail sales through effective sales and marketing initiatives in co-ordination with the marketing team. Providing customers advice and information regarding salon services, packages and retail products. Assisting with salon events and promotions and ensuring they are marketed. To work closely with the HR Manager in relation to any issues etc. To carry out any other duties required by Management which are not listed above. Requirements: 2 Years minimum experience. The ideal individual will hold ITEC or CIBTAC and CIDESCO diplomas and have 2 or more years supervisory experience within a spa environment. Excellent interpersonal and Managerial skills along with a passion and drive for hospitality. Excellent written and spoken levels of English. Excellent attention to detail. Computer literacy including excellent Microsoft / Excel skills. Full time availability, including weekends and public holidays. Elemis training an advantage.
