Production Team Leader- Weekend Shift

The Role Ensure machines are ready for start-up by verifying that all materials are available, all tools are in place and target boards are marked up. Ensure operators are at the workstation on time at start of shift and after break times. Perform absentee’s responsibilities. Verify Start-up checks are completed. Ensure that all checks are complete eg. daily/hourly checks. Ensure all documentation is completed. Ensure MES is updated correctly. Investigate quality issues and make recommendations if necessary. Prepare machines for changeover where necessary - ensure materials are available to minimize changeover time. Complete shift reports on machine output and efficiency downtime. Assist with training of operators. Address health and safety issues. Emergency response such as fire evacuations, spills, accidents etc. Cover lines during break time. Update Production plans for next shift. The Person Experience of Lead Operating in manufacturing environment an advantage. Good communication skills verbal and written. Good computer & numerical skills. Ability to work as part of a team.
