Operating across the gulf region my client currently employs over 35,000 employees servicing some 50,000 retail outlets with a turnover that exceeded $3.5 Billion in 2014. At present the operation has 90,000 cows and rear 70,000 young stock in 7 modern dairy farms. Responsible for the management of dairy herdsmen the successful applicant will undergo a programme of on the job training in all business aspects reflecting the best European standards. Experience in animal husbandry is a requirement . Candidate also needs to have a number of years practical experience working on progressive dairy farms. Core purpose of the role. To maximize production and thereby profit of the farm by planning and organizing all farm functional activities within assigned areas of responsibility and making the most efficient use of all resources at this disposal. Academic / Professional qualification. Bachelor degree in Agriculture or equivalent qualification. Non academic qualification. Professional experience in the management of dairy herds. Competencies. Livestock management skills; Must have good man management and influencing skills and be a good communicator; Driving License; Computer fluency. In return my Client offers.
